court up

At last i have court up and managed to do this weeks secret layout before the week ends. I am have terrible trouble with my computer and it may be out of action for a couple of days.
I will feel lost with with out it, although it leave me more time to scrap. It as taken me 3 attempts to leave this comment for today. Will try to blog as and when i can.

catching up

This is my take on week 2's scrapbooking the secret. I am a week behind but i will catch up. Busy day tomarrow. Plan to do circle journal l.o and week 3's l. for the secret challenge.

It as been a lovely day today despite the doom and gloom the weather foregasters predicted. I have managed to do lots of washing and am getting it dry. I just love the smell of air dried linen. It will be fresh sheets on the bed to night, smelling all loveellly.

I am always behind with these challenges. It is week 3 but i have only just done week 2's. I just do not know where the times goes. Are i do!! De bugging my computer.
I spent all day yesterday running virus scans, and still have not deleted one. I really hate virus's human aswell as i.t. ones.
Any way here is my week 2 secret challenge, which was secret shifters.

fantastic day today

I have had a great day today.
Spent at Art from the Heart learning about colours and moods and feelings and what each colour means to me. Here are my companions, hello girls!

My head is a swirl of ideas and colour combinations and well just about anything, and where am i going to fined the time to scrap it??

I have also managed how to trim my photos of my l.o's in picture it. They look so much better with out the table or carpet or whatever edging them.

Cards and cuties

I have been making some fathers day cards today. Quite enjoyed that. I have been more of a scrapper for ages, but i can see me getting back into card making as well

They are so cute. Snowy is obsessed with food. She loves lettuce, carrots and brocolli. So much so i have seen her tear it out of poor flopsys mouth.
My one day off during the week and guess what! it as rained all day. So cheesed off. It will be sunny tomarrow cause i am at work.

cubist masterpiece

On a monday night i go to an art class. I love it. There are mostly poeple my age (21 and a few months) (quite a few)that also go. It gives me an opportunity try different mediums and develop new skills.
For the last couple of weeks we have been working on a cubism piece.
I have found this fantastic. We had to draw the same item 3 times, on the same piece of paper, from 3 different angles. Then look for nice shapes and colour them in. My kind of thing you see. Don't have to worry about perspective and shading. It is great. I have uploaded a picture of me with my masterpiece for your inspection.
Let me know what you think, only nice thoughts that is.

Nothing else exciting happened to me today. Worked to earn the money to feed my habit. My crafting habit that is, cann't afford any other kinds

Hearts and secrets

Just had a wonderful day at Art from the Heart. Learning backgound techniques. Will upload some lo's using these techniques when done.
I have been reading the secret and the lovely Anita is is running a blog on scrapping it. The first week was on some thing you are grateful for. Here is my take on the subject.

Day off today. Managed to make this card for my mum's birthday. i used some lovely velvet ric rak i got from this craft store out in the dales at Embsay.

Sorry this blog is taking some time to get going, but it will.
Since our resent loss we have aquired 2 new additions to the family.
A white guinea pig and a mutli shades of brown rabbit will upload photos soon. When i can work it out.
